Look, more bird houses!  Every time I take Esme to Michael's or Joanns, she gets a $ wooden bird house to paint.  She LOVES to paint them and we have so many around the house and on the porch.  After her nap today, she wanted me to paint with her, so she grabbed a spare birdhouse from the art closet and handed it to me (so sweet).  I had so much fun just hanging out and doing crafts with her.. I need to do that more often.  ((Sometimes, I find myself putting her in front of a craft and then doing other things.. laundry, dinner, whatever.. but I need to change that!))  My little mama is artsy and I love it!

I had so much fun (and some great alone time!) this weekend.. but it was wonderful to come back home!  Spent lots of time with the kids today and once they were in bed, planted on the couch with my amazing husband.  Thanks again, Brian, for letting me escape this weekend!!

Ahhh.... a weekend with 400+ other adoption mamas...pure fun!  Today was the first day for Created for Care- soo excited to have the weekend to myself and to be able to spend lots of time with friends!  Love staying at Lake Lanier- so pretty and so close to home (which is good if you are a controlling worrier like me).  Lots of good stuff planned for the weekend!

Guess who got first place in the science fair AND moving on to the county level?????  BOTH of these monkeys!!!  YAY Aislin and Declan.. they were sooo excited tonight and so proud of their experiments!  The school chose two students from each grade to move on to county.. so neat that they were chosen!! ((Man, I thought we were done with the science fair stuff... haahhahaha!!!!!))

Cute little owl!  Aislin, Judy and I had a craft night and made these cute little owls!  Aislin isn't finished with hers yet, but I will take pictures of ours when she is done.  Judy took hers home with her - love the blue and green!!

Science fair due date!  This was the first year the kids participated in the science fair and let me just say that I am glad it is done!  They both did great jobs with the experiments and data and information.. and their boards?  Let's just say that I was the creative director there haha!  Declan made his title out of Legos- which looked really cool (let's just hope the glue comes off later or I will be heading out to buy more Legos for him later).  Judging tomorrow and awards Thursday night!

Aislin mummified hot dogs.. gross and cool at the same time :)  I don't like hot dogs to begin with.. this made me never want to eat them again.

We kept the hot dogs and Brian made little coffins for them to go in.. ha! 

I'm proud of my monkeys for finishing these.. but next year they will get a lot less help with the boards!

Nana and Papa came into town for Declan's birthday (and the UK game).. it has been so much fun!  We miss them soo much and wish they would move back here.  We are going to keep trying to talk them into it :)

Not sure I have mentioned this, but we gave Aislin a Kindle for Christmas.  Best.gift.ever.  She loves it and always has it near her.  Of course, we are going to not be able to buy groceries because she is buying and reading books like crazy, but that is ok :)  Love love love her reading so much!
