Brian got home tonight from London (work trip).  He has been gone almost a week and the kids were so excited to see him (me, too!).  Aislin wanted to bake a cake for him (she is so me), so she came up with a plan to make his favorite cake with hand drawn London decorations.  She spent a long time looking up pictures of what she wanted to draw, then drew them out and colored them.  In case you can't tell what the pictures are: Tower Bridge, triple decker bus, Chelsea football stadium, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Queen's Guard and the British flag.  And she topped it off with the red/white/blue sprinkles.  She was so proud of her creation!

Of course, Brian came home with gifts for the kids (and chocolates for me!)...Chelsea kits for each of them.  They were soooo excited to get these and they can't wait to wear them to their next soccer practice.  They look so cute!

I didn't take any pictures during the day today, so I decided to take sleeping pictures tonight.  :)  I love that I can go into their rooms and take pictures with the flash on and they don't wake up.

Finally done- yay!!  So excited to finish this quilt from March.  This was a fun one- not as big as I had hoped, but oh well.  Maybe next time I will plan better :)  The kids stood on my bed so I could get a picture.. thankfully the fan blades didn't chop their arms off.  kidding.  Not sure where this quilt will go.. but it looks cute on my bed for right now!

This is what happens when I let Declan spend the night with his cousins- he shoots his first bb gun!  I totally don't like guns and violent toys and stuff (I am such a freako), so Declan was super thrilled that his uncle taught him how to shoot at a target with a bb gun.  My sister texted this picture to me and wrote that he made it out alive...funny girl.  You know I love you, Laurell!  I asked Declan if he missed me while he was gone...he said no because he was having too much fun.  He's grounded forever.  haha kidding!

Cutest tush ever :)  For some reason (why why?) I decided to go hard core this week on the potty training.  Let me just say this: my little girl is stubborn :)  She is doing great so far, but it has been quite a challenge!  Fingers crossed that this will be the end of diapers soon!

Before and after.  Just a tiny crash :)  She didn't even know she had a bloody elbow until I pointed it out to her.  Of course the bandaid stayed on for about 20 minutes until she played with it too much and it fell off.  And yes, she needs to grow about another inch until she can sit on her bike properly!

Another day at the pool with friends!  I kept doing a head count on the kids- there are a lot of them :) My friend took this with her phone so it is dark, but cute- thanks, Alissa!

Dinners for over a month!  woohoo!  My friend, Nicole, and I spent all day today preparing dinners to freeze.  I have never done this before, but it was so cool.  Tons of work and prepping and stuff, but so so worth it.  Last weekend, I saw THIS post for freezer meals and decided to get on it.  Nicole and I just made double recipes of everything and then split it up- so I have 16 or so dinners ready to go.  Here is what we made today: Beef for beef dip sandwiches,  Cheesy Chicken, Empanadas, Cornflake chicken tenders, Pesto chicken stuffed shells, Taquitos, Turkey meatloaf and Breakfast burritos.  We both can't wait to do this again and try new and different recipes!

You really can't beat swimming at a friends house!  The kids had such a great time together.. makes me want a pool in my backyard.  Pretty pretty please, Brian??
