Apparently, I need to stay away from Target.. I just love shopping there too much. Target had this cute toddler bedding on sale this week ($14!!) and I just had to get it for Esme. She loves dogs and cats so I knew she would love having it on her bed. Plus, her down blanket had a hole in it somewhere and every time I went in her room, feathers would be flying around..it was time for new bedding! Wait, what did you say? Why is she sleeping in a crib again instead of the toddler bed? Haha, yeah. After a few nights of that toddler bed, Brian and I decided we just could not handle her getting out of bed at all times of the night. We changed her bed back into a crib and she hasn't tried to get out once! whew. relief.

Little peek of tater tots Halloween costume. Yes, I decided to make it- threw it together quickly yesterday.. hope it won't look too hideous... we will see! Maybe I should have just made her into one big tater tot.. I mean, how hard could that have been? :) Aislin and Declan had their costumes picked out long ago.. they are all set!

yeah, like I really need to start a new quilt right now. ha! But, my friend came over the day for a day of sewing and I just started cutting these fabrics for a simple checkerboard-y type quilt. We'll see how it turns out!

I just love this
Aislin got home from school today, dropped her backpack on the kitchen table and then went straight outside with her book. She stayed out there for almost an hour until she finished reading it. I snuck some pictures from inside- she didn't even notice me because she was so into her book. She is so like me :) Oh, and after I took her photo and went to the kitchen.. this is what I saw:
That is Declan hidden behind that book and even he didn't notice I was taking a photo of him until later!
Yes!! They get home from school and pick up books to read to relax. Man, I can't tell you how happy this makes me!

Music class today :) Esme loves going and is always singing the songs. I love taking her every week! Hard to get a picture of her because she is always right on top of me in class.

Aislin set up a face painting station in the foyer yesterday and painted faces and arms for over an hour. She is so creative..coming up with these ideas. She had all her paints spread out, her table and sign, and a book with designs that you could choose from. After she painted everyone in the house, she got busy on herself and made herself "sleeves".. where did she learn that?!
