If you know me, you know that I am a huge list maker. I have to-do lists on my calendar, in notebooks, in my purse.. everywhere! I just found this (free!) awesome calendar + list maker online..TeuxDeux I think I am going to love it! Type in your info, move it around, cross it out, change it.. really cool. I am going to try it for a bit to see if I like it! Here is a little snapshot of my list/calendar.. I have more to add, but I just threw this stuff in there to see if it would work :)
My pretty girl.. if you look really close, you can see the sweat on her forehead and chest. She is such a sweaty little thing when we go outside, it is too funny. She will have sweat running down her face and her little arms and body will be all cold and clammy. Still completely adorable though :) (Oh! and she kept a bow in her hair all day today.. woohoo! haha)
My sweet niece, Drew :) Got to hang out with her and my nephew, Charlie, yesterday and today.. fun fun! After we put the little kids to bed, Drew and I went to Target and then came home to make some cards. Well, she made a card.. I tossed mine in the trash because it wasn't pretty. Brian and Charlie played soccer in the backyard and then came in for Wii. Love hanging out with them, hate they live so far away!
Ok ok so I know this isn't a photo, but I am struggling to get back to normal so this will have to do. Aislin drew this last week when Brian and I went on a date night (thanks to Aunt Chelle and Malia for babysitting!). I absoluetly love every detail of this...especially the Dad+ Mom= Love.. so sweet!
So fun to come home and see how much everything has grown! This is Aislin's little apple tree that she started from an apple seed... it has just zoomed up the past two weeks. I can't wait to plant this in the yard- so cool!
I'm going to post more photos from our trip later this week when I catch up!
Ahhhh we are home! The second long day of driving.. not as bad as the first, but still long. Thankfully, the kids all crashed out after dinner and stayed that way. So so so happy to be home.. two weeks is a long time to be gone!
Well, since I don't have a picture of The Longest Day of Driving Ever, I will just post a picture of a quickie quilt I made for my sister. It was all crinkly from the car trip, but she liked it.
By the way, if we ever want to try to drive for 13+ hours in one day with three kids, please STOP US. Who had the good idea to try to drive from Denver to St. Louis in one day? What a horribly long day for all of us.. the kids actually did great, but we were all so wiped out by the end of the day. The last five hours of our trip were through nice thunderstorms- ugh! Never ever again.
Ok so my sister is literally going to kill me for posting this... sorry Chelle! We didn't take one good picture of the two of us the whole time we were out in Colorado... I can't believe it. So, I am just going to say that we are usually cuter with makeup on and clean hair...oh and when I am not in my pajama top :)
My sweet friend, Janel. We met through scrapbooking and have stayed in touch all these years.. it was great seeing her again while we were in Denver. The kids love her so much.. so do I! Esme says she misses you, Nel!
Two cute girlies.. Aislin and Maddie. So fun to see the Dillow family in Cheyenne! We had a great time hanging out for the day.. makes me wish we lived closer so my friend, Elizabeth, and I could hang out more.
