Finally finished the scarf I started last year- yay!! I love it.. it is so soft. Pattern from: Here. Aislin was sweet enough to model it for me.. isn't she gorgeous?
Not the most exciting post for New Years Eve.. but this is what you get :) Even before we had kids, Brian and I were never the NYE partiers. Tonight we just had a wonderful dinner and spent a quiet night together.
Someone is enjoying his bow and arrow set that Santa brought!!
Aislin had a great time this morning taking care of Esme.. playing with her, dressing them up the same.. until she decided she was too tired and took a nap. Turns out she is sick :( Hope she feels better soon- hate when the kids don't feel well!
Hiking day! Mimi, Dominic and I took the kids for a little hike today - it was fun! After a few days of rainy, cold weather we were all ready to get out and exercise. Brian was running the trail and lapped us.. but he found us at the end :)
Later... Sean let Aislin try on his pilot shirt.. so cute!! She just thinks it is so cool that he flies airplanes!
No picture today (WHA?).. but we all went to see an afternoon movie.. so nice to relax and have popcorn and enjoy a movie! Great movie.. made almost everyone cry :)

Nothing like waking up Christmas Eve morning and finding your Mimi at your house :) The kids were sooo happy to not only have Aunt Linda and Uncle Steve here, but Mimi also! Wait.. Aunt Chelle, too?? What an amazing Christmas.

We went and had lunch with Gran today- it was nice just relaxing with her and not having tons of other family around to distract us.
Ok so maybe I almost forgot to take the kids to see Santa... but we made it! Esme was so excited to see him.. he was coming down the escalator and she was screaming, "Santa!!!" and jumping around like crazy. Santa told Esme she was his number one fan :)
