Aislin was invited to play in a tournament this weekend with U11 year girls.. so cool! She had a great time and played awesome. I think she was a little intimidated at first.. bigger field + older girls + more girls on the field, but she got over that pretty quickly. The team didn't make it to the finals, but they all worked so hard.

A porch full of firewood + cold weather = super relaxing fire time! LOVE having fires in the winter and we just got stocked up on tons of firewood.. so happy! The whole family had a nice night tonight.. dinner, movie (How to Train your Dragon- love that movie) and snuggling in front of the fire... perfect!

(bad phone pic, but oh well!). Esme has the day off school because of conferences, so I decided to take her to one of her favorite places.. Monkey Joe's. This girl could spend hours there. She gets all hot and sweaty and just runs around and plays like crazy. It was fun to spend the morning with her just doing something for her!

New quilt! I typically don't buy quilt kits, but last week while I was at Intown I saw this kit and had to have it. I had some serious fall weather on the brain because my dad was in town and he kept trying to get good pictures of all the gorgeous leaf colors... so I blame him :) The colors are so pretty and fall feeling... I just love it! This is a twin sized one...I can't wait to finish!

My beautiful girl is 10! TEN!! I just can't believe it has been 10 years since she was born.. just craziness! We tried for two years before we got pregnant with this sweet girl.. it was an amazing day when she came into this world :) Happy Birthday, Aislin! Pictures from her day....

My baby doggie is getting old. She is 11 and is starting to really slow down...we think she is losing her hearing, she sleeps most of the day, and she just isn't as active as usual. I hate this. Lexi is the best dog ever and I just can't bear the thought of something happening..it just kills me.

Birthday party day for my (almost) ten year old! Linda and Steve are in town (yay!) and Linda and I took Aislin and her friend, Sofija, to the American Girl store for lunch and shopping. We had such a great time. The food was delicious, the girls were so cute, and the shopping was fun!
We came home to get ready for family to come over to celebrate! My aunt made the cutest AG gift bag out of cakie stuff and pretty cupcake toppers- she is so talented! Aislin wanted yellow, grey, and teal for her birthday.. so we used those colors for everything. Linda and I made the banner out of doilies and letters we cut out with the cricut.. so happy with how it turned out! And I made some of those circle flower things and hung them from the light. We had a fun day!

Jeni (my sis-in-law), Megan (our great friend) and me :) My friend, Megan, is pregnant- yay!! Today was her baby shower- so fun to hang out and see her open all those cute little baby girl gifts. I cannot wait until she has her baby.. she is going to be a great mama! I am going to have to take a trip down to Key West to see her once she has the baby.. hurry up and get here February!

My little cutie with her new pj's. Man, this girl is all over the place as far as behavior! One day she will be so helpful and sweet and the next day she is trouble x 10. She is definitely keeping me busy!
and for Grandpa... Declan finally got a hair cut! Yay! He looks so cute without all that shaggy hair. He almost poked his eye out with one of those gigantic pencils today. The pencil was sticking up in his closet (yes, sharp side out.. great, huh?) and he was leaning over to grab a hanger and the pencil jammed right on his eyelid. He came running downstairs crying with a bloody hand and eye.. I almost freaked. Luckily, it was just a cut on the lid.. so scary!
