My neighbor brought these baby mice down to my house today.  Her dogs um..*got* the parents and the nest was orphaned.  So sad.. these little babies were soo cute.  We called everywhere trying to figure out what to do with them with no luck.  Unfortunately, these little babies had to go back outside and let nature do its thing.  So sad :(

LOVE soup weather!!  I made this baked potato soup.. Brian and I liked it.. the kids didn't.  Oh well.  Going to keep trying out new recipes!

My girl has her own style.  Some days I just don't have the energy to beg her not to wear white shorts/hot pink leggings/grey boots.  :)

My friend came over last week and motivated me to start working on this quilt again.  I picked it up tonight and sewed a few more strips on...16 down..22 more to go (ack!).

Still having issues with little mama going to bed.  Ugh, such a struggle!  I went to check on her tonight before I went to bed and this is what I found...her passed out on the ground.  Because it is so much more comfortable than her bed, right?  Maybe I should just start putting her to sleep on the ground and she will stay in her bed??  Just a thought!

Aislin's friend came over for a few hours tonight...Declan had a sleepover, so I let Aislin have a few hours of brother-free fun :)  Guess what she wanted to do??  Another Chopped competition!  So funny!!  I am super controlling about my kitchen and messes (hate them!), but I think I did a pretty good job of hanging back and letting the girls do their thing.  I just scrubbed the kitchen the minute they were finished (haha!).  P.S.  Don't ever try smashed up grapes in hershey's syrup..ick!

Having lunch at school with the kids is always fun :)   Plus, the school has really good lunches!  Today, I had salad and a baked potato from the teacher salad bar...yum!

Movie night at school!!  The kids came home from school today begging to go to the movie night at their school.  Aislin's soccer practice was cancelled, so they showered, put on their pj's, and ate dinner in record time so we could go.  We grabbed sleeping bags and a quilt and made a spot on the cafeteria floor to watch Rio together.  I have to admit, it was fun (though it was loud with all the kids!).

Sweet Lucy.  No, she is not ours.  I just wish ;)  My friend got her yesterday and brought her straight over.. she is the cutest and tiniest little thing!  I never really thought I liked boxers.. until now!  I tried to talk Brian into getting one.. but he said no.  Maybe I'll work on him, because.. hello?  who doesn't need a puppy!?  :)
