Once upon a time, there was a zombie, butterfly and an 80's girl...haha! Halloween time! The kids had so much fun tonight and they looked so cute. Now..what to do with all the leftover candy??
We finally went to get pumpkins today (we are a little behind this year!). The kids had fun picking them out.. even if they didn't have much to choose from :) When we got home, they started the carving immediately (well, Esme painted hers but Aislin and Declan carved theirs). Aislin doesn't really have a bloody arm... Brian was practicing makeup for Halloween.
Next year, I will be better about pumpkin shopping :)
Papa and Nana! Yay! Brian's parents came to visit us for a long weekend- so fun! Dominic came to spend the night with us (and do his laundry and wash the cars). Love having family over :) It is going to be a nice, relaxing weekend. Oh, and Dominic..this is for you- because I know you miss the Diego cup. Maybe you will get one for Christmas.
Pastry party at school! Since Aislin got straight A's on her report card, she was invited to a party to have donuts and fruit with the Principal. So fun. Poor Declan was *so* close to straight A's.. he had one B and it was a 88%..I told him maybe next time!
Braids!! We are trying something new tonight with Esme's hair.. I bought her a little satin scarf-y thing to wrap around her head while she sleeps. I am so hoping this will help keep her hair less fuzzy and crazy. We'll see!! I have a feeling she won't keep the scarf on, so I am going to have to put it back on when she goes to sleep. I guess I will see in the morning if it works.
Miss cutie at the soccer fields. We were supposed to go camping after soccer, but we ended up not being able to go. So, we set the tent up in the backyard for the kids to play in and we got the fire pit out after dinner and made s'mores.. yum! Almost like camping, right?? Not the best picture (below) but that is what I get when I try to use Brian's phone outside in the dark!
