New hair finally!! Brian was sweet enough to let me ditch responsibilities today at 1:30 to go get my hair done. SO happy- my hair was way out of control! I got a cute little cut with the front a bit longer than the back. (I got about 3 inches cut off the back-- I feel so light) :) haha! Also got some highlights (yay!) and though you can't really tell that much in the picture, I got the tips of my hair dark. Love having that contrast- I think I am going to keep it this way for a while. Thanks, babe, for my free 1/2 day and for taking this dorky picture :)

Esme started school today- she will go 5 mornings a week (eeks!). I got a little sad today when I dropped her off, but luckily I went out to breakfast with friends and they distracted me. :) She had a great day and is so excited to go back tomorrow! I was so relieved when I picked her up and she ran up to me and gave me a big hug.. I was worried she wouldn't miss me! I guess I need to find some stuff to do in the mornings now.. 3+ hours of free time?? What to do!?

Ahh..homework time with Declan. My sweetie can struggle so much when it comes to doing homework- drives me crazy! He is a smart dude, but doesn't really like to sit down and do his homework. He would rather be outside playing or jumping around :)

Gabe, Esme & Silas (thanks, Angie for the picture!)... 2.5 years ago these little guys were cribmates in the transition home. Look at them now :) We had a great day with the families today.. jumpy place, lunch, back to our house for more fun. It is so nice to just hang out and relax with friends while the kids play!

Sometimes Esme can be a tad overwhelming.. poor Silas!
Water table!! yay! The kids loved playing in this.. they started out fully dressed.. then lost their shirts.. then their pants.. so cute to see three toddler tushies in their undies while they were playing in the water!
The big girls watched a movie while the littles were outside (and Declan watched his own in his room)

Two little monkeys sitting in the tub :) Cute cute!! Gabe is here for the weekend and we are so excited!! It has been almost two years since we (me, Bri, Mike & Chelsea) were in Ethiopia to pick up these guys... so cool that we are friends and can still see each other. Esme and Gabe are having a blast!

So cute!! I love what Aislin chose to put on her canvas.. so motivating and awesome and so *her*! She did streaky colors and I love it! For Esme's quote- she said this to me one time after watching Tangled.. so sweet..so now we say it to each other all the time. Never want to forget this!

Aislin decided today she wanted to do a quote canvas like I did for Deck's room. Of course, Esme wanted to do one, too. That girl LOVES to paint. Aislin found her quote in a book (she changed it a little) and I gave Esme a few choices for hers. We stuck on vinyl letters and the girls picked out their colors and started painting! Love that they are both crafty :) We will take the stickers off tomorrow!
